"I, RUBY: vol 1."

  • RUBY PROJECTS SECRET #112 1502 Sawyer Street Houston, TX, 77007 United States (map)

RUBY PROJECTS is thrilled to announce its latest exhibition I, Ruby: vol 1. The exhibition celebrates a diverse group of emerging artists who are inspiring the growth of RUBY and contributing to the dialogue of change and challenge in the contemporary art world.

The works on display have been carefully curated to showcase the unique perspectives and voices of each artist involved. The exhibition invites viewers to engage in meaningful conversations and consider new ways of seeing and being in the art world. It is an exciting showcase for RP, a young gallery concept, as it brings in a new generation of creators who use their work to challenge the status quo and push for cultural change and representation in the art world.

Many of the artists featured in I, Ruby: vol 1. are not yet represented in the Houston art scene, making it a valuable contribution to diversifying visual accessibility and interest in Houston arts. This exhibition is an inspiring showcase of how art can be used as a force for trying new avenues and stimulating change, and we are honored to be part of this important conversation.

This exhibition captures the expression of RUBY and reflects our past, present, and future exhibitions, a testament to things to come. I, Ruby: vol 1. is a collaboration between Houston artist Jeannie Jones and RUBY Projects' Megan Olivia Ebel. It will be held at Spring Street Studios Gallery #112 at Sawyer Yards and will run from June 30th (Evening opening from 6-8pm, and daytime opening July 1st from 12-5pm) through July 30th 2023.

The gallery will maintain weekly hours from 12-5pm, Wednesday through Sunday. We invite you to join us for a thought-provoking and inspiring showcase that challenges our assumptions, broadens our perspectives, and celebrates the diversity of emerging artists. For more information, please contact RUBY Projects at megan@rubyprojects.xyz or 7133040362. We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition.
